Dangerous outer skin of brickwork to sheer wall, levels 4 and 5, required urgent attention. Following erection of safety steel scaffolding MDP tradesmen gently demolished brick by brick. Installed engineered steel brackets and rebuilt outer walls, followed by installation of stainless steel ties into concrete inner leaf of building, another difficult executed by the MDP team.

The brief was to sawcut several large openings in the pool in order to replace leaking pipes. The pool was then repaired back to profile, retiled to match and then some 2000 metres of joints were replaced using Flexurised Epoxy System. A large, specialised extent or work carried out with minimum fuss by MDP.

Major corrosion to wharf Building RSJ columns caused brickwork to crack and become unstable. MDP were engaged by the client to demolish brickwork encasing columns, remove corrosion by Pneumatic means, weld new beam section in place, double prime using High Build Epoxy and relay new face brickwork, tied to column both the engineer and client praised the end result.

MDP were recommended by the suppliers and selected by the client to install Sika Carbon Fibre strengthening system to ceiling beams in accordance with Engineers design. MDP completed this project and have successfully completed many strengthening projects including Sika Wrap column and beam strengthening, double layer application.

This project, which entailed, Epoxy coating of several stairs and reinforced membrane to walkway areas, was completed in the 2 week holiday period, to the total satisfaction of the department of commerce Newcastle office.

Another successful Epoxy Flooring Project carried out by MDP, to Australian food standards. This food preparation area required major demolition and levelling prior to Epoxy Trowel Application and Arrowhead Coveing. The client was very happy with the end result.

Replacement of metal roof with new Tapered / curved roofs are always a challenge and this one was not an exemption, However MDP completed the project in QuickTime and without any problems. Past Projects
|
Three (3) storey red brick building (approximately 45 years old) on The Esplanade, subject to high exposure to salt water spray. The main issues with the building included badly corroded brick ties, badly fretted brickwork, corroded window lintels, concrete spalling to all concrete elements and the list goes on. The proof is in the "before" and "after" photos and reference testemonials.
